The Big Beautiful Pew Campaign!
We warmly invite each of you—our beloved members, local churches, and the extended community—to join us in a meaningful mission close to our hearts: renewing our sacred space with beautiful new pews. This is more than a project; it's an opportunity to come together in faith and love, creating a space that reflects the unity, warmth, and spirit of our faith family. Your heartfelt participation will help us build not just a place to sit, but a place to belong.
The Story Behind the Pews
At a recent Church Council meeting, St. Luke’s approved replacing its old pews with 15 donated ones from St. Paul United Church of Christ, at no cost for the pews. The transportation, installation, resizing of the replacement pews, and the removal of the old pews are estimated to cost $14,200, with three more pews to be purchased later.
To offset these costs, a capital campaign is underway headed by Crystal Maroya. Each member is asked to contribute $375 beyond their tithing. Payments will be accepted through October via Zelle, PayPal, Church Trac QR code, or cash. This project will greatly improve our sanctuary for years to come.
